Finding Magic in a pretty Boring Life

REVEALING THE EXTRAORDINARY WORLDS HIDING IN PLAIN SIGHT

For me, photography is like meditation—it's where I find peace, balance, and a connection to a completely different world. When you wake up in the morning and see animals stirring before people do, you witness truly magical scenes and behaviors. Nature is often underestimated, which is why I try to capture every possible moment and preserve it through my photos.

Tales from the Wild Garden is a project aimed at showcasing the value of garden biodiversity and revealing the lives and impact of its wild inhabitants. I want people to stop fearing insects and to resist the urge to eliminate them from their gardens at all costs. Instead, I hope they will grow to love living in harmony with nature.

Expertise Areas

My path to macro photography – from art education at Gdansk Academy of Fine Arts, through 13 years in fashion design, to forest arthropod documentation – has given me a unique perspective on visual storytelling. My art education provided the foundation for understanding composition, form, and visual communication, while my years in fashion design taught me about precision, aesthetics, and the power of detail. My urban photography phase in Gdansk developed my eye for finding beauty in unexpected places.
